Sydney Walters is an Inland Empire based artist working in painting, sculpture, and installations. As an artist, she explores the balance between gender and piety, often creating a new perspective on this relationship. By providing the viewer with a new perspective on autonomy, Sydney is presenting audiences with the opportunity to probe religion and spirituality. By removing the heirarchy found in tradition, she offers you to the opportunity to engage in layers of meaning through her artwork.
